“Profumo di Rosmarino” is the name the authors gave this beautiful house, published in November 2011 by the well known Italian magazine “Ville e Casali”, they described the property to be “particularly beautiful and charming”.
This house is part of a small hamlet located just 5 minutes drive from the centre of Anghiari, easily reachable by foot for those you adore walking. This property, which forms part of small hamlet of houses has been completely restored and benefits from spectacular views as well as tranquility, for those who want to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The property is private but not isolated from the rest of the world. The house was restored a few years ago, with particular attention to the use of reclaimed materials, and of course completely biological, from the natural lime material to the colours used and so on. Great attention was given to re-create ambient spaces, room by room as they were from the original time of their construction, in order to do so we must go back at least 200 years. The house has a large open outside area with portions of private car parking and a covered pergola, a large swimming pool to be divided but only with a few other friendly residents.
On the ground floor of the house is the kitchen, recreated with original antique objects, the living room with fireplace and dining area, one bathroom and bedroom on the same floor. A staircase then leads upstairs where an ambient was created that can accommodate 2 single beds for any additional guests or alternatively simply a space to relax. Furthermore there is a second double bedroom and a spacious bathroom with a very special bath or tub. All the furniture throughout the house has been carefully sought by originate from a refined search of antiques or antique fairs. Nothing is damed as trivial, each of these furnishings, fabrics from the famous Busatti, Italian linens, fine paintings, create an atmosphere of dreams. The house provides everything you need, from dishwasher, oven, washing machine, television, to free internet access.
In furnishing this house I had not intended to do so for the purpose of renting for holidays, I created my home. Business and professional situations have led me to live most of my time in the north of Italy, for this reason driven by recommendations from friends I decided to share my beautiful home, with those who wish to 'live a dream come true’, your Tuscan dream.
